The Masque of Mandragora: This episode sees Tom Baker as the 4th Doctor. The TARDIS is temporarily captured by the Mandragora Helix - a spiral of energy with a controlling influence, which results in the time machine being infiltrated by a sparkling ball of energy.
The Abominable Snowmen: The TARDIS arrives in Tibet in 1935 and The Doctor visits the remote Detsen monastery in order to return a sacred ball - the Ghanta - given to him for safe keeping on a previous visit. There he meets an Englishman, Travers, on an expedition to track down the legendary Abominable Snowmen or Yeti. Snowdonia replicates the Himalayas and Patrick Troughton is the 2nd Doctor.

Portmeirion is engrained in the consciousness of an entire generation that grew up during the swinging sixties - thanks to its starring role in the cult TV series The Prisoner. Designated a National Park in 1951 Snowdonia is one of the most spectacular of the UK's 11 National Parks and the second largest after the Lake District. The Park covers 823 square miles of countryside with awesome mountain ranges and wild, unspoilt coastlines populated with all conceivable species of Wildlife.

But there is more to Snowdonia than the wonders of the natural world the park is home to around 26,000 people who live and work within its confines. It is also home to some of the remotest hill farms in the country. The men and women who work this almost uninhabitable terrain have to be as tough and hardy as the animals they farm if they are to face some of Mother Nature's most extreme elements in both the winter and summer months.
