Location: Tram stop at the top of the Great Orme, Llandudno
In the days when the real life Vikings were looting and pillaging the coast of North Wales they came across a huge lump of limestone sticking out into the sea.
Its unusual shape must have reminded one of our marauders of a giant worm because 'Orme' is an ancient Norse word for worm. Nowadays the Orme's most famous residents are also partial to wearing horns on their heads namely a colony of feral Kashmir Goats who made the Orme their home after being presented as a gift to Queen Victoria.
