Location: Cilcain, Mold
The village of Cilcain lives out a sleepy existence in the shadow of the magnificent Clwydian hills for 364 days of every year.
It sits there quite happily attracting visitors with its alluring 14th Century church. But on August Bank Holiday the hardiest athletes from miles around descend on Cilcain to compete in the Moel y Famau Mountain Race which covers the highest peak in the Clwydian range - definitely not one for the faint hearted!
